Welcome back to my favorite post of the month! I ended up getting to seven books this month and it was a pretty mixed bag but there were a few standouts! My 18th birthday is fast approaching on the 18th of this month which I’m both excited and daunted by and in other news I had the privilege of attending Gollanczfest this month which is a bi-annual SFF festival hosted in London! I’ll include a few photos at the end 🙂

And the best book I read this month was…
School Trip by Jerry Craft! This is the third installment in the middle grade graphic novel series, New Kid, which explores starting over at a new school and learning to navigate the microaggressions and assumptions that inevitably come when diversity low. Full of heart and humor, this series is not to be missed!
New Books Acquired:
Finally got my hands on Jennifer Lynn Barnes’ Debutantes duology which I’m super excited for. Also managed to score the US edition of Once Upon a Broken Heart which is stunning!
