The Art of Reading

What a great reading year this turned out to be! I found myself in a pretty bad reading slump during the first half of 2023, but something changed around June when I read this book, and it’s like a switch was flipped somewhere in my brain. Suddenly I couldn’t get enough of reading and what’s even better is that I was finally enjoying the books I was reading again! The average rating I gave to all the ones I read this year was still only 3.9 stars out of 5 which is the lowest it’s ever been, but I’m not too bothered by that because overall I feel like this year has helped me to arrive at a better place reading-wise and I also read some incredible books which always makes it worth it!!
