I still haven’t gotten back on track with my reading and I only ended up getting to four books this month! I feel like I have a pretty good excuse this time though. I currently live in London but I’m originally from the US and for the past three weeks I’ve been back visiting family which has been pretty crazy, hence why I haven’t read as much. However, I did find a new favorite this month so without further ado, let’s get into the books!
Books Read:
And the best book I read this month was…
The Forest of Stolen Girls by June Hur!
This book had such a well-crafted historical setting! Pair that with a mystery based off true events and a heart-wrenching sister relationship and I was blown away! I highly recommend this to any historical fiction fans and I can’t wait to read more from this author!
Books Acquired:

The first picture are the ones from March, I’m so happy to have two ARC’s in the mix and The Q I won in a giveaway! The other two pictures are books I forgot from February but still wanted to share haha.
New Releases:
Book News:
I decided to add another category this month to share a couple articles relevant to the book community that I found to be really interesting:
- Here’s one about how Agatha Christie became the third author after Roald Dahl and Ian Fleming to have their books come under fire amid publishing changes.
- And sad news, Book Depository will be closing at the end of April due to Amazon eliminating jobs from the Devices and Book department.
Wishing you all a wonderful April,
Happy Reading!

So glad you’re back at the reviews and suggestions! I’m going to try and find that Anthony Doerr book at our library as I’ve read one of his before and it was really good!

I read his other book as well and really enjoyed it! I’m not sure which one I liked better but I’d say this one was definitely worth the read!
